She has two more shots until next July when her learner's permit expires. So.my wife continues to practice driving until she feels ready to attempt the test again. Unfortunately, nobody can ride along during the driving test to translate. From what my wife said, I think the tester may have had an attitude as well.but I was not there, so can't verify. Nothing! She never got to move the car! Apparently the tester was middle eastern and my wife just could not understand her English with her strong accent. Next problem.when she went for the driving test she could not understand anything the tester said. Anyway, my wife scored 100% on the test! I was shocked. BTW, the system is such that you can't cheat using the translator as it is a paper test. Fortunately, the DMV here allows a translator to accompany a foreign speaking person, so my wife found a young Russian woman to go with her and take the test. My wife flunked the written test two times (you only get 3 chances before you are required to go to driving school.
